THE ACTOR’S PERSONA

“Seeking redemption and validation, an aspiring actor decides to pick up his dream of being a performer. Though, his old habits come back to haunt him, as he prepares for a shock he wasn't expecting.”
‘The Actor’s Persona’ is the forthcoming film from MPM which finished shooting at the beginning of April 2024 and was finished and sent off to film festivals in the latter half of May 2024. The film is slated for a mid-November release on the MPM YouTube channel.
As of June 5th, there has been one official public screening of the film, with two more screenings taking place at events around the country.

Hurt People, Hurt People

‘Hurt People, Hurt People’ is an adaptation of the novel “Diary Of An Oxygen Thief”. The short film was the third release under the MPM brand and has garnered thousands of views online. The film stars Charlie Salsen as The Narrator and Poppy Murphy as Penelope.
The film has been on the festival circuit a year after its release and has had success at these festivals, receiving an Honourable Mention from the Student World Impact Film Festival.

FERNANDO
Release Date: 28th October 2022
“What is a day in the life of a serial killer? You'd be surprised. Fernando, a serial killer in hiding, narrates and documents his day, interests and problems in a search for understanding and closure.”
‘Fernando’ is a short experimental horror film filmed in the summer of 2022. Being the second film made under the MPM brand, director Mason Perry knew he had to come up with something outside of the box. With the help of longtime friends and collaborators Kostadin Laskov and Daniel King, the trio came together to create the story and character of Fernando.
Post release, Fernando has seen great success, winning an award for Best Cinematography at a horror film festival, mere days after its public release. Since then the film has been shown all over the world in different festivals, often being nominated for Best Short Film.
The short film is slated to be expanded upon into a feature film.

SOMEONE’S HERE
Release Date: 22nd July 2022
“Someone trespasses on someone else's property without them knowing, leading to some unnatural occurrences.”
The first ever MPM branded film ‘SOMEONE’S HERE’, was a rapid success. Within its first 24 hours, it had accumulated 1,000 views. It now sits on over 6,500 views with great reviews.
The film was shot over two days and features recurring collaborators Kostadin Laskov and Daniel King.
After its release, the film was picked up by film festivals from London, New York and Rome, being featured as an official selection for their screenings. The film also reached the quarter-final stage of the ‘Scout Film Festival’.
